I need some assistance in taking a decision.

Below are my case details:

Married to US Citizen on 7/7/2010

Applied for 2 Year GC and got it on 12/17/2010

Applied for 10 Year GC in Oct 2012 and got it in Apr 2013(submitted all the supporting documents like insurance, bills, bank accounts and affidavits from friends that support the marriage)

Note: Made 3 visits to my home country without family and the duration of the visits were 5 months, 1 month and 1 month.

Separated with US Citizen Wife in Nov, 2013. Applied for citizenship based on 3 year marriage and attended the Naturalization interview in Dec 2013. The immigration officer was very mean and asked me questions about why I had to leave the country without family 3 times and asked me either you withdraw the application or he will start an investigation. I decided to withdraw and I did right at the interview.

Got divorced in Dec, 2014.

Remarried (to a non-citizen) in Dec, 2014 and had a baby (born in US) in Oct, 2015.

Reapplied for Naturalization in Oct 2015 and attended the interview in Dec, 2015. This time the officer was very rude. She was not convinced that my marriage to USC was legit and asked me for my past 5 years of residence proof and my current marriage certificate. I withdrew my application in Jan 2016 as I was not comfortable with the way the IO treated me in the interview and also I was not able to get in touch with the previous landlord. On Mar 21, 2016 one of my friends who I used in the affidavit during my 10 year GC application got a call from Homeland Security. They asked him how he knew me and whether I lived with the USC during 2010 thru 2013. He confirmed that he knew me as a business associate and that I lived with the USC as agreed in the affidavit. The homeland security officer told him that he checked with the landlord and found out that I didn’t live there with the USC. My affidavit said “I don’t know about landlord, but the applicant is my friend and I know that he lived there with USC”.

I moved to a different State on May 17, 2016 and updated my new address in the USCIS website.

On May 23, I got 3 letters.

Letter 1: Confirming my new address

Letter 2: Cancellation of Interview: Due to unforeseen circumstances we cancelled your interview that was scheduled in Dec, 2015. We will send you another letter about the new interview schedule.

Letter 3: Interview for Naturalization on June, 29 at the USCIS location that was closer to my new location.

It looks like they ignored my withdrawal letter that I sent it in Jan, 2016

My Questions:

Should I attend the Interview?

What can I expect at the interview?

Is it a trap, where the make me say something that they could use against me?

Find a good lawyer with experience in these matters.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
