I am not saying I am not seeking advice. I directed you to read my last two comments because some of the issues you raised were addressed in them. e.g paying tuition and when she would finish school - she is already a graduate and working.

You missed my point. From those 2 posts, looks like you know what to do now. So in other not to get folks like myself responding to the original post, you can have the thread locked so that people can no longer reply to your post.

I hope I made myself clear.

No, I am not locking it. No advise is too much. My last two posts was to acknowledge some of the advise and also shed more light about her immigration status in the USA. Thank you.

Please take all advice given here with a grain of salt. I will share my life experience just to balance out the posts hehe.

My husband's exwife filed for divorce three months after he obtained his citizenship.

We are both from the same country.

We married only two months after their divorce was finalized.

We were in a relationship LONG before he was divorced. Four out of the seen years he was married.

Before anyone judges: I was NOT aware of him being married... He proposed to me and I found out a few weeks later. When I did all hell broke loose and a huge fight ensued... She filed for divorce. A year later I forgave him, we got back together and married.

A year and a half after marriage he decided to move back to US so he petitioned for me.

We presented evidence of our relationship from the start (2006) to USCIS because I wanted to be honest. They took a long time to approve i130 but we were never accused of anything. No interviews or any other extraordinary things but a long wait (9 mos).

Then the NVC process. Again, nothing major. They approved our case.

Then the interview at the consulate... CO just took a double check on his divorce date and our marriage date. Did not ask anything about that. Did ask how we met. I answered truthfully and made sure not to elaborate id he did not ask. He did not ask. Never lie, but don't volunteer info that is not asked.

In the end, I guess they don't care about infidelity as long as what you have is a real relationship with the person you are sponsoring.

If you petition for her when the divorce is final and you two have been married for a while, you should be ok.

:yes:Intelligence trumps muscle... Imagination trumps both!
