flight to montreal

getting ahead of myself since we our app isn't even in Montreal yet. but was just looking at flights for the end of May. If I'm in NM it'll cost $500 to get to Montreal but my hubby to fly from Calgary will be over $900. ####### how can it be almost twice as much to fly within Canada from major airport to major airport than to fly from tiny podunk airport in the US to Montreal. aaacckkkk I was expecting somewhere around $1000 for both of us.

Its called competition, and there isnt that much in canada,one only has a few airlines to choose from!!

hi since you are just checking i did also go to air canada jazz or westjet under 200.00 one way calgary to montreal 2 of us flew round trip winnipeg to vancouver for under 700.00 great trip and no problems

I'm a big fan of kayak.com -- it's kind of like google just for travel sites, and it comes up with the best prices.

I just picked a couple of days in late May, and westjet was about $488.

It might help if you play around with the days too, alot of the interviews are mid-week and that can be a lot cheaper.

Check out WestJet - they substantially undercut Air Canada. And they're fun:-).

from windsor to montreal it's roughly 1500

and that's if we go at odd times and fly "tango"

Have you checked Via Rail?...Ive seen advertisements on TV for Toronto-Montreal for $59 through Via Rail...not sure where else they travel, but maybe worth checking out
