Ok, I'll bite so-to-speak. Reading this article, the cause/effect seems to be a stretch. If Global Warming is the cause of recovering shark populations, isn't this potentially a good thing (especially if the shark is endangered)? And if GW creates more sharks, won't it also create more food for those sharks?

I just want to know, if this idiot so-called scientist is wrong in his estimate, do we get to feed him to the Sharks?

did you read this article? seems to me like you saw "global warming' in the title and knee jerked right into "idiot so-called scientist". the only 'sciency' info i saw in the article said ~ "more people on the planet = more people swimming = more chance for attacks" which doesn't seem to be a stretch of cause/effect. most shark attacks occur towards dusk or idawn, usually because the sharks have come in closer for feeding than they normally would. they're not saying global warming is literally causing sharks to attack more often. if i'm missing where they're saying that in the article, my bad.

I guess it was my reading of the third sentence of the article. I apologize, I am on an iPad so I didn't copy it, but the scientist was quoted that the increase would be..."in part due to global warming". My only point here is that we get all these predictions that are attached to GW impacts and if they do not come true, we never see a retraction (no I wouldn't really feed him to a shark). The population increase of humanity and the failure to heed warning signs seems to be much more relevant here than GW impacts. Much like this case in Queensland Australia. If you read toward the bottom, I think the local Australian MP said it quite well "you can't legislate stupid".
