Hello everyone,

I need to get a verification of employment letter to accompany I-134 form at K1 visa interview and further for AOS purposes for my significant other. I work at a university and they have their own verification of employment system that would generate a pdf form with pay information and history of employment. However, it does not have any signature. I attached it below.

So I talked with HR person and she referred me back to this system even though I have described to her which form the letter should be from what I have found online with a signature: "To whom it may concern: (first name, last name) has been employed

full-time with the XYZ Company since 200_ as a (name of your job), and is an employee in good standing with an
annual salary of $XXXX. Signed, John Doe, Supervisor (or whatever title)".

I will talk with my actual boss as well, however I am not sure if he is authorized to write such a letter because he isn't my employer, the university is. If he says no I am only left with w

Has anyone else had this? Is the format of the pdf from suitable for I-134 purposes?

I think you'll be ok.

I had my director sign a letter that I wrote. In the letter I documented where I worked, the nature of my work, the fact that it was a full time permanent position, and my annual salary. There is a notary public where I work, so we had it notarized. I included that letter, every pay stub for 2016 and my federal tax transcript that I had the IRS sent me. I really believe this will be enough... the interview is this Friday, so I will let you know how it goes.

Thanks for your reply!

Good luck at the interview!

They didn't ask any questions about my salary, so I think your affidavit of support will be fine. Inna's visa was approved today; the interview was only 5 minutes.

Congratulations to you both!

Okay, i stop worrying then :)
