My fiance is a filipina working in Hong Kong. The NVC sent the approved I129F packet in March. Now it's almost June and she still hasn't received her Packet 3. We have emailed numerous times to get nowhere and called to get no answer. Does anyone out there have any advice on this matter?

Thanks Todd

Hello! I just want to share our experienced (K-1). I am a Filipina too. My fiance received the hard copy of the letter from NVC with case number on May 12, 2016. We waited 2 weeks but while waiting I track the status of our case at ceac using the Manila case number assigned by NVC. I also prepared all the requirements, i already filled up the DS - 160, set an appointment for interview and went to St. Lukes for my medical. I haven't received packet 3 from the embassy yet so I called the US embassy Manila about it and she said that she will make a follow up report in our case.My fiance received the letter of eligibility in his email the day after i called.Good luck!

Well I just was informed she got packet 3 today :) Now we found out her boss took her mail is why we didn't get it. Her day off is Saturday and the medical and police clearance is only open during weekdays.. sigh...a new set of problems. Her boss is against this so they might not let her off during the week. If she gets terminated she will have to leave Hong Kong and travel back to Philippines. I read the visa can be transfered to another country...but that means more delays. Keep us in your prayers. Thanks for the comments and happy to be here
