I am going to the Philippines in 2 days, I have a major flair up of ulcerative colitis. I am hospitalized and am going to go against medical advice and leave the hospital so that I can make my flight to the Philippines. Anyways, I am in major pain, does the Philippines have Vicodin,lortab or Norco, or any Hydrocodone/acetaminophen, I can't have nsaid meds as it causes lower gi bleed, and can,fatally shut my kidneys down, I need to know what hospital in the Philippines has it or something similar as that seems to work for me

well my friend, u will be out of luck, unless you find some kind of knock brand that I wouldn't mess with. But if you have a script in your carry on bag you will be OK.. at least flyinf thu China

There are two major drug stores in the Phils; Mercury & Watson . They would most likely require a prescription from a Philippine doctor (just my opinion)

Acetaminophen might be available but you have to have a prescription. You may check with St. Luke's Medical Hospital in global city Taguig as it's one of the best hospitals in Ph so they most likely be able to help you

If you have a major flare up of ulcerative colitis, paracetamol won't be as effective in curing pain related to ulcer. When I have ulcer pains I am prescribed Naproxen (obviously you can't take that as you said you can't take NSAIDs). Other meds that I take, that are available here, are Omeprazole and Ranitidine. Ranitidine can be bought OTC
