Was hoping that people that have recently booked appointments in Montreal, how far out are they booking the appointments for?
I know nothing is going to be consistent at all, and it is only a rough guideline, but just wondering aloud to possible get a sense of time.

Many thanks in advance.

Hello! My fiancée and I got out NOA2 on April 19th, and we booked our interview for August 3rd. They had a few sooner, but that day worked best for our schedule. Also, they only do K1 interviews on Wednesdays, from what I could tell. So your medical needs to be done at least the thursday before...

8 day in montreal lol. We are going to try and relax and make a vaca out of it.

There are medicals near Toronto as well as one in Surrey.

It could be cheaper to do a day visit to one of those and than stay in Montreal for 8 days unless you want the vacation time.

I live on Vancouver Island, so I am going to go to Surrey for the day, get the results sent to me, then Montreal the next week..........well, that is the plan.

Anyone have a cheap coupon code for Air Canada.

When I was making my appointment a few weeks ago.. They had plenty of Wednesday interview dates (June 15th was still open). We grabbed June 22nd because he wants to be there but needed security clearance from his job. So I'd say interview times are pretty easy to obtain, but I'm not sure how regular that is.

Check WestJet, too :) that's who I went with to Mtl from YVR and it was definitely cheaper than AC.

Just to keep this current:

I submitted my packet 3 yesterday (I'd been waiting on my passport) around 3pm EST and got my packet 4 a little after 4pm EST today. I don't think the timing was deliberate, haha. When I scheduled my interview around a half hour later, the earliest date they had available was June 29th and every Wednesday in July was also free. I had been planning to schedule it for July 13th, my birthday, if I could, but my fiance is extremely busy with work - thanks to a certain championship final - and suggested the 20th to make sure that he could get everything to me in time. I'm about to try to schedule a medical for a date that'll let me spend the in between time in the US with him.

Looks like we might be in a period where interviews are relatively easy to get.

You really don't need your significant other... The interview is generally super easy.

I think a lot of us know we don't need our fiance. However it is really nice to have them there for support (I have anxiety issues, so having him there helps a lot!) and to be there to celebrate after you get approved. :) Most of us haven't seen our SO's for quite a while, so it's also nice to treat it like a mini vacation.

It was about 7 months after my last visit that I had my interview. I remember the feeling. Since my visa came the next day, he was on a plane by the end of the week to move me down.

So I get the feeling, is what I'm trying to say.
