No. That would be you. I'm not in denial that culturally Pakistan is pretty much a few hundred years behind a significant portion of the world. But you weren't trying to limit this to the poor women of Pakistan and you can forget about trying to pretend that you care about them. Nice video, not.

Odd even at work, the only people constantly talking about race and offended by everything are. ???

If you knew me I am real nice person, who wants to include everyone and when someone comes in our satellite building I offer to help them with whatever task. I hate divisiveness with a passion. Anyway at our small building its kind of like a house. We ave a little oven kitchen fridge etc. We keep a lot of snacks . We cook stuff at home and bring. I always see people passing by and ask them to come in and have some.

Anyway the other day we cut a big water melon. We all feasted on watermelon. Several people from next door ( Diverse crowd of all races ) stopped by and we invited them to have some. Anyway it was getting late and we had 5 pieces left. I hoped on the golf cart and ran next door. I pulled up to 4 of my coworkers who happen to be black, I said we cut a big watermelon and have some left. Please come have some if you would like. I was met with cold looks and they just looked at each other. One said "is this some kind of comedy show". I was like no I have some good cold watermelon and was just being nice enough to share with my fellow coworkers. I was told that was racist. Even when I explained I would never joke like that and they knew I wouldn't they still acted stupid.

I just looked at them like the dumb you know whats they were and walked off.

Yes America the constant race whining has become that stupid.

You do realize the motley crew talks about race more than anybody here? Its just that for some reason, it's ONLY an issue when we bring it up. So much in fact, we have to stay out of some threads since it's obvious that's the objective.

The comments fly fast and furious. Ghetto, baby mama, a desire to sleep with apes, funny how these things are surprising absent when the discussion isn't about black people.

I'll try not to be so sensitive when these comments are only used when black people are involved.

As for your work experience, people take things differently. Just because you didn't think you offended them, doesn't mean you didn't. I know that what we mean to do can come off as something else from another person's perspective. Instead of being insulted, learn from it and be mindful.

Does this mean we should be asking how old people spouses are here? Because there are quite a few members in the MENA forum and some here that follow Islam and it would be safe to say their loved ones are of legal age, unless you're implying those who marry Muslims would engage in pedophilia?

As for the company, what can I say? I hang around folks who don't generalize large groups of people and tend to use equal parts logic and compassion. But if not doing that = defending Islam, what does marrying a Muslim and moving to a Muslim country =?

As for little girls, there are quite a few men who fly overseas to marry girls not even fully out of high school, and not related to Islam. But that doesn't matter, because you know, reasons...

Question asked and answered from my side. Seems you hang around with people who just accept it because someone else does it. Pretty shallow set of morals but some folks base their morals on the flavor of the day and others base them on what is right and wrong

I have learned. Never over racist Jenks free food any more.

I have 12 hour slow cooked shoulder, corn on the cob and baked beans for today. They can pound sand .

Perhaps next time , if you ever feel so inclined you can invite everyone to the beginning of the banquet, and not hop around on your golf caddy offering leftovers to the uninvited.

Thank you for validating my expectation that your grasp of world events is limited to gossip columns and music videos however you should try to pop a bubble or two and make a note in your mind that this new bill in Pakistan is a bit of a step backwards on the overall scale of human progress.
