I'm filling out my paperwork here as I have my infopass appt. with the DORA program in Oklahoma City in two days. I have a few questions and I know they have probably been asked many many times before but here goes.

I'm thinking I use my married name on the I-485 and it seems I have read before to use your married name but to put your maiden name in where it asks for other names used. I don't see anywhere where it asks for other names used. They do ask for other names on your G-325A Biographic Info sheet. Is this where they mean? Do I use my married name on the G-325A Biographic sheet also?

It asks for "Current USCIS Status"? I came here on a K-1. I didn't come here until close to the end of the 6 months that my K-1 was good for and it expires on March 27/07. Now that I am married is that still my status? It asks for your I-94 # and below that it asks for "Expires on" - I'm not sure what they are asking the expiry date for........ the I-94 or the K-1.

It asks for current occupation...... do you just put in none as we can't work yet or what type of work you used to do before you came here?

It asks for "Nonimmigrant Visa Number" On my visa I have a control # in the upper right corner and there is also another number in red in the lower right? Which is the visa #?

That's it for now folks......... thanks in advance for everyone's help.

Susan

If you're in the US and not currently employed, don't put anything. Put N/A or something like that.

Best of luck :)

We just filed and we put

Current status- K-1 fiance visa

I-94 number is on the I-94 and the expiration date is the 90 days from entry (it's stamped on the 1-94)

We put under empoyment- none

and for the visa number we put the red number- i think its a 9 digit number!
