I was told a desicion could not be made at my interview because my file needed to be review.

I call customer service a d got transfered to an officer and he told me that i was in process to be approved and should be getting something soon, but he was not allowed to tell me if i am actually approved, if that makes any sense....

I thought they could see and tell you if you are approved?

Does anybody know?

Thanks

They can see your status, but it may just say "decision made" or "approval in progress" or something like that. Or it may say "approved" and he just doesn't want to tell you.

Sometimes they'll tell you what they see, but sometimes they say you have to wait for an official notice.

If you're approved you'll be placed inline for oath and you'll get an online update.

If you're denied they'll send you a letter and your status may update to say something about "decision activity" or "decision sent".

If they want info, they'll main and RFE and your status may update to say that they sent an RFE.

I think you should wait at this point; sometimes it takes a few weeks after the interview to hear anything.

But if you're going to keep worrying, call back and see if someone else will give you a different answer; there isn't anything else you can do today.
