You Southies make me sick.

Then again, I'm on my way to warm sunny Texas and you're going to Connecticut...so I'll be laughing soon. ;)

Yes, but CT is only a stopping off point...we're moving to LA in 2008 so hubby can have a crack at Hollywood!

Hahaha...you won't find me envying people who live in LA. Been there, prefer Texas. ;) Now San Diego on the other hand....THAT is beautiful.

Yup, I love SD too and wish we could figure out some way to be based there! LA is...interesting? No doubt about it. If we haven't made it there in 5 years we'll probably move back East.

Texas...hmmm. I'm the daughter of a Texan who moved to Connecticut 41 years ago and never looked back, so I think his ranting infected me! But I've got a ton of family there (El Paso, Denton, Galveston and Laredo) so I got a soft spot for the place!

LOL...my mother's family moved from Connecticut to Texas and they have nothing nice to say about CT. CT is pretty, but I couldn't ever live there. Too cold!

What's worse is I've gone all soft over here weather-wise -- now 40 is "cold" to me, the girl from the frozen North. I remember winter mornings waiting for the school bus and if my hair wasn't 100% dry it would freeze into a ponytail-popsicle!

Jeebus! You can KEEP weather that cold. I'd rather deal with Texas's blast furnace heat. At least we have AC, bless the lord.

Today it is cold and raining. I got a call from work about half hour before I was supposed to start that I didn't have to come in because of the weather.
