Case was approved but still no green card yet

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding to my case. We had the interview on 4/26 and we were not approved on the spot. The officer told us he would need to run the background check and would approve our case after that. Later on the same day, we received an update on USCIS website said that our case was approved. As of today, we've been waiting for exactly 1 month and still haven't received the green card yet. The online status showed on 4/26 that "We ordered your new card" then it changed to "Case was approved". We also received our welcome letter in the mail but no green card. I'm so worried that the green card hasn't arrived yet. Does anyone experience this? Is it normal?

I-485 AOS

10/01/2015: Got married!!!

01/04/2016: Sent AOS package (I-130/ I-485/ I-765) to USCIS Chicago Lockbox via USPS

01/06/2016: AOS package was delivered at USCIS Chicago Lockbox

01/13/2016: Received 3 text/email notifications from USCIS

01/14/2016: Check cashed out by USCIS

01/19/2016: Received official NOAs in the mailbox

01/29/2016: Received biometric letter in the mailbox scheduled for 2/8/2016

02/08/2016: Biometric appointment done

03/25/2016: Received email/text notification: "Interview is scheduled for 04/26/2016"

04/02/2016: Update on EAD: "New Card is being produced"

04/07/2016: Received EAD card in the mail.

04/26/2016: AOS interview done. Got approved on the same date. :dance:

06/07/2016: Status update: "Card was mailed to me"

06/09/2016: Green card received.

01/26/2018: Mailed I-751 package

01/30/2018: NOA 1 Notice Date

01/25/2019: Status update "New card is being produced"

You should first call USCIS and see if they will give you the tracking number for package as I've read that they ha E tracking numbers when mailing out GC. Also you can create an account at my.usps.com and there you will be able to track any incoming packages to your residence.

Hi Ali&Oli,

Thanks for your information. I called the USCIS customer service yesterday and was told that they haven't received any service request for my card yet. It was so weird cuz I received the status update that card was ordered for production. Now they told me to wait couple days so they could investigate further on my case. Anyway, i gues i'll have to wait couple days and if nothing happen i'll make an info pass.
