I am almost ready to send my N-400, but one question is very confusing.

Part 12, question 4 A and B.

4. A. Do you have of did you ever have, a hereditary title or an order of nobility in any foreign country? - the answer is NO

B. If you answered "yes" are you willing to give up any inherited titles or orders of nobility that you have in a foreign country at your naturalization ceremony?

I would be obviously willing to give up any title if I had any. What do I answer in part B? Can I just leave it blank since I answered NO to part A?

Any help would be appreciated.

4/15/13 - USCIS Chicago Lockbox received package

4/22/13 - got email and txt

4/29/13 - received NOA in mail

5/08/13 - received biometrics appointment for 5/22

5/09/13 - successful early walk in at Port Chester, NY office

5/22/13 - I-485 updated to Testing & Interview

6/18/13 - EAD went to production

6/21/13 - Card/Document Production for EAD - second email

6/24/13 - EAD mailed

6/26/13 - EAD arrived

7/18/13 - got email about interview

7/20/13 - got hard copy interview letter

08/23/13 - interview - Approved dancin5hr.gif(card production & decision email)

08/28/13 - card production - second email

08/29/13 - card mailed

09/03/13 - card arrived

05/22/06 - Biometrics scheduled (online update) and appt letter was mailed on 05/20/16 - Day 12

05/24/06 - Biometrics letter became viewable online (appt scheduled for 06/07/16) - Day 14

05/27/16 - Received Biometrics letter in mail - Day 17

05/31/16 - Was denied walk-in fingerprints with just 1 person left in line. Milwaukee office, boo! - Day 21

hello guys same congusion...

Part 12, question 4 A and B.

I was going thru the same confusion the only thing that in my country where I am from I do have part of apartment on my name, so I do say Yes on the question 4 - A, and then I have know idea if that part of apartment considering as a hereditary or not???? Do I answer Yes or No on that? And then if I do say Yes but on the part B of question 4 "are you willing to give up any inherited titles or orders of nobility that you have in a foreign country at your naturalization ceremony?" Do I say Yes to? I don't understand how does US government would make me to give up anything my family left me? Or I just say No to all of it? part A and B?

 

Any help would be appreciated.
