NO scan date emails by NVC

So today I called NVC in order to check if my documents are received. Operator told me documents were scanned on 20 May when I asked why I haven't recieved any confirmation email yet? operator said "Yeah we had a problem and then we have stopped sending confirmation emails".

Have any one recently received confirmation email of scan date?

I also called NVC regarding this matter. The operator said that they received my documents yesterday (May 26). Forgot to ask if will I be getting a scan date email. Will call them again today to verify if they have stopped sending those. Hoping they haven't, though.

I also remember reading somewhere here before that they don't send the scan date email right away. May take them a few days or a week. Not sure.

Update: So I called NVC a few hours ago and the operator said they don't send scan date emails anymore.

But I just got that email. Scan date: May 23. Not May 26 as told by the operator I spoke with yesterday.

Seriously, they really mess things up sometimes. I learned that the hard way.

this is what I was suspecting they themselves know they are having issues of sending scan date emails. Anyway as long they confirmed over the phone that they recieved my docs I'm good with it ?

Both of my daughter's and my AOS & IV Docs were ship to NVC on the same day, but only my case got the received confirmation mail from NVC on 2016/5/20. So we called NVC on 5/27, the operator told us sometimes they just don't send the received confirmation mail. And he also told us, my daughter's case status is the same as mine so it is not a concern to me now.
