Had our interview APRIL 25th. Submitted proof we are not married May 5th. Case updated everyday until May 18th. MAY 18th case creation date changed from April 5th to May 18th, status update date same. Has says ready all this time has never changed out of "Ready" Also changed from immigrant to non immigrant.

QUESTION: how long does it take to say issued after case creation date change?

Where should I check the status using DS 160 number or our case number? Both say the same at the moment.

Third question, they sent me an email what does it mean to be under "visa application is still under processing?" Does it mean issuing visa processing or still being reviewed for an approval? And if so why did the creation date change?

Thank you for writing to the U.S. Visa Service Desk.

We understand that you would like to know about the case status.

With regards to your concern, we would like to inform you that, your visa application is under processing at the U.S. Embassy.

Please be assured that, once the processing is completed or if the Embassy needs further information, you will be intimated about the same.

Alternatively, please follow the link: https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/ to check the status of your case, by selecting Check my Visa Application Status under Non-Immigrant" or "Immigrant".

We hope this answers your query.

Have a pleasant day!

Yours Sincerely,
