Hi all,

I got an update on our dashboard for ustraveldocs.com but I can't figure out what it actually means!

Quick summary.

We filed via DCF and had our interview last month, we were preliminarily approved for our CR1 visa. They gave us one green paper that showed us the document we were missing. It gave instructions to send her passport and the required document to the consulate in Guangzhou via CITIC.

Once we got the required document (Notarized certificate of Birth, see my other posts for that story :)) we sent it with her passport and required pictures via CITIC as instructed on Friday May 13th. UStraveldocs.com updated on Thursday May 19th saying her passport was at the consulate. Today it updated and now it says. Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery.

It doesn't say approved or denied, which I didn't expect it to honestly, because ustraveldocs is just a currier service/manager of the deliveries I think. But, I didn't get an email or anything from Guangzhou consulate saying, well, anything. From what I can tell, because we did DCF filing, I don't have a good way to get an update on visa approval or denial other than waiting for an email.

Just wondering if anyone knows what it means.

Thanks again VJ!

Jon

There is only one reason they would ask for the passport, and that is to put the visa in it.

You are good to go!
