yay jlvr!!! so happy for you! i don't know how long it will take to get the visa through morocco. some get them within a few days, some in months.... so its definitely up in the air right now! its been almost two weeks and nothing. i've called DoS twice and emailed the consulate and all they tell me is that we have to wait and that things are "moving right along as they should". whatever that means! :) hopefully soon so i can catch back up to you other feb guys! :D

hey guys,

I am really happy for all of you. So many approvals and visa's in hand!

Kellon and I will be going to his interview next week. We are pretty anxious to say the least. We are still missing a bunch of documentation...not quite sure f we dhould go anyway or not. It's just frusrating.

Sorry I haven't been around much. I guess I just haven't had much to say since we are at such a stand still.

On a good note, we are throwing a huge engagement bash this weekend. We have a ton of people coming, I've been cooking all week.

It's really nice to see you all getting through...I hope I'm not too much of a rain cloud.

What date, Sue, so we can keep you in our thoughts? It might be better to go and have them make you come back. I'm not sure. You should post a question in the Caribbean forum, see if any other Grenadians might know. Don't worry about not having much to say, we're glad that you come back and update us every so often. Have fun at the party and don't think about all of this. (yeah right)

Oh Gaba!

You guys are so cute!

He'll be great at the interview.

Good news for me. I have a definate date with an invitation letter. July 12 in Barbados. We are still gather up all the stuff for him to bring, but that should give us enough time to get it all together.

Sue

Hey, I thought you guys were having that interview on July 12th. Did you have to postpone it again? I'd really like to know how it turns out especially since we'll be using the same embassy. Good luck on gathering your info though. I'm sure it will turn out alright.

Tony,

I hope you had a great flight and are fully enjoying the benefits of being with your fiance.

As for me, Kellon went for his medical and interview this week. He passed the medical just fine, he was also approved for his visa. However, we are still waiting for the Canada police check to come back so we can mail it in with his passport so they can issue the visa. We are hoping we can get it in time so we can travel together to the states. I can't stay past August 16 since I have to interview in the states for a grad school program. Sooo, we are thrilled to be approved, we just need to get visa in hand now.

I think I round out our group for getting visa's?

well, we've almost got it. ;)

Hello, everyone. I'm glad to see so many happy endings. We were married not too long ago (once I realized that we would probably not make the July 30th date there was no reason to rush) and we just went and got hubby's SSN, it was no problem. We would start filing for AOS but we don't have the funds right now. :(

Congrats on all the wedding bells!

I've been wondering how you all are doing. I don't come on here much anymore...I'm still in the waiting game

I've come back to the states, about a month ago. Kellon is still in Grenada...we're hoping he'll be up here by November.

Our group has a pretty good track record though...I'm just lagging behind a bit. Hopefully we'll catch up soon!

You will, Sue. I'm glad that you've been approved, at least. So once the police record is sent, he'll get the visa? That must be so frustrating, still waiting on Canada after all this time. Is there anything that can be done by your senator or congressperson? I know you probably won't see this for a while, but I hope that things move more quickly for you. Let us know when the visa comes through. (F)
