Oh my gosh Sue!! Congratulations on having an "ace in the hole"!! Yay for now having an interview date that you can think about and focus on.

I know the set backs are frustrating but at last you can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!

Must Update, cause I am crazy excited! Craig got his police cert's today (in about 2 weeks less than 40 days!!) and off will go the final checklist tomorrow to the consulate. Now we wait for his interview date. But all the initial paperwork gathering is behind us!! I am soooooooo excited!!!

I have only been sporadically following this thread since things moved to the consulate, but I like to check in!

Especially after seeing so much movement on all of your cases.

Homeboy is full of anxiety about this whole process. He's never flown before, is terrified of bureaucracy, petrified of being denied. We're meeting in Juarez on June 18th, and last night I explained to him the necesity of keeping all of his documents in his carry-on, about checking his luggage, and how to pick it up at baggage claim. Then we moved on to the interview, and he'd apparently blocked out the part about my not being allowed into the consulate. I asked him some of the likely questions, and then said, "See? All you have to do is tell the truth about us! Now don't you feel better about this process after I took you through it?" A moment of silence, then he wails "Noooooooo."

Good news for me. I have a definate date with an invitation letter. July 12 in Barbados. We are still gather up all the stuff for him to bring, but that should give us enough time to get it all together.

Nope...we actually don't have even half the stuff we need. That's why we requested a date in July. But it should be close...I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The embassy said he an interview without the certificate and just send it in afterwards if we need to.

We are getting together everything we can, pics, filled out forms and what-not...but we are knocking on wood that we'll get everything else in time.

That's great, Sue, that you finally have a definite date and that he can interview without the certificate. That must be a huge relief. I hope it continues to go well. I've been procrastinating a little bit, I still need to assemble some of the financial documents like paystubs and bank statements. And the letters and phone calls that will show proof of our relationship.

Still keeping Jen in our thoughts and prayers, hoping the Moroccan Embassy reopens soon.

Hi guys good luck for your interview tonyeck will be sayin a prayer for you had to cancel my medical so now its set for june 24 th week before interview still waiting on my police report hope it comes in time im sick with worry...... called glasow police today but becos of bank holiday i have to call back tues

Don't feel like that, think positive. Your medical is rescheduled for a week before your interview. Is that enough time to get the results to the embassy? You should double check and possibly reschedule the interview if it's not. Or maybe you can have the interview without the medical and approval would be pending the receipt of the medical results.

HI medical results apparently take 4 days to get to embassy so i think i have enough time its my police report im worried about will be phoning tomorrow to see whats happening take care agnes
