I don't know why our military is having such a hard time not raping women and little girls in Japan. Maybe they need to poly their sexual desires to find out if they are enrolling potential predators into the military?

Again, I'm asking the question of why so many rape cases in Japan by service members? Should there be some kind of psych eval into a person's predatory sexual desires before enrolling in the military? The families who live close to these bases do not deserve to come home and find their wives or daughters raped.

The gap between living on base, and then heading out to the local restaurants etc is quite surreal. Have a few drinks, know the military lawyers will protect you, not understand the local language and....could bring out the worst in borderline personalities.

Do they? My understanding is that Japan has one of the highest prosecution success rates in the world.

Yep. There was a major case that caused a scandal back in the 80s or 90s? Will have to google it.

This guy is different in that he is now a civilian, lived off base, and has Japanese permanent residence so I doubt military lawyers will step in.
