No, they still do. It's still a I-130/I-485 case.

i was in F1 when we filed i-130 on aug 2014. (my husband was immigrant that time). once he became a citizen, we filed AOS last march, at the same time i stopped going to the school, since illegal stay will be waived if u have a citizen spouse. our interview is on june

Filed: Citizen (apr) Country: Argentina

hi

your case is different, your husband wasn't able to file concurrently because he was a LPR at the time of filing, so he had to file the i130 first and when he became a USC, he was able to send the aos packet

the case of the OP is different because spouse is a USC filing concurrently, no need to file the forms separately, it wouldn't make a difference to send them a month apart, just wait until they have everything together and send the whole packet at the same time

All adjustment of status applicants (except for large part of K-1 holders - who had interview at embassy) get interviews. I-485 - filed concurrently or not, forces it.

No, all people who filed I-130 and I-485 will have a mandatory interview.

I think you have been reading about K-1 AOS interview waivers and thinking it applies to I-130/I-485. It doesn't.

I have to disagree with you Harpa, that all who filed I-130 and I-485 will have a mandatory interview. I have close friends of mine who adjusted their status from F1 to AOS and didn't have interview at all.

I know most of the K1 interview are waived.
