So my husband received his green card a little over a month ago. The interview was waived and we got it rather quickly (yay!) Today in the mail we received an RFE saying that we need to submit a correct I-693 form. We called USCIS and the tier 2 supervisor we talked to didn't see an RFE in our file (and we can't see it online), but he said we should go ahead and follow the instructions. Also, the letter we got was from USCIS in Guam (definitely NOT our field office-- we're on the other side of the USA in Portland ME). We're thinking it's a mistake, but also that we should send in what they're asking (which I assume means getting another physical entirely, since we've already sent them the sealed envelope from his K1 exam) to avoid potential problems later on if we don't. Has anyone heard of anyone receiving an RFE after approval like this? Any suggestions for how to find out if it's an error?
