Hopefully your approval comes with a quickness...I just do not understand the CSC process...there should be a way to keep them semiorganized with dates in the process...

So I called USCI-HOWLAMECANTHEYBE-S and inquired yet again about not getting a NOA-2, not getting a update on my case status ( it still reads Feb.26th ! ) and not getting a lousy E mail telling me we are approved. AGAIN, I was told, they will submit a request to God knows who at God knows where and then the person I spoke to AGAIN told me it will likely cost me 200 $...even if the postal lames delivered it to the wrong address or messed up the delivery in any way. Of course, USCIS will not owe up to any responsibility on their end. God forbid ! I cannot for the life of me figure out this highway robbery. Iam wondering if Ken has any fingers for hire???

JoanBill, have you called to have them send you the approval notice yet? Nagi, that's what they told me too... Are you going to wait the full 30 days for the request to be sent to CSC or what before seeing if a congressman can get it sent?

No, it will be 30 days on the 11th, and no, I think I will wait on using the big guns, cos ya never know when you will REALLY need them. For something like this, I will just have to wait and see what their next move will be, then try to figure out some battle plan, I guess.

On the flip side, I already told them to submit the request. I would hope they did and did not screw THAT up , too.

Ditto here. I think I'm going to call them and see if the request was forwarded. If not I'll contact the congressman and explain the problems I'm having and talk them into dealing with it Let me know if you hear anything better!

Is anyone else trying to get through to NVC right now? I have called 5 times and keep getting redirected to the automated system... GRR!

would suggest you try sending an email to nvc because heard also from some members that it's really hard to get through, you may email to NVCInquiry@state.gov, please indicate uscis case # in the subject of the email with the following information in the inquiry:

case # from uscis

petitioner's name

petitioner's date of birth

benificiary's name

benificiary's date of birth

approval date

Did you receive a touch later that day after speaking with an operator?

I received a touch the day after I used the RFE trick...but I did call late in the day.
