Head and bodies up their butt! :wacko: No paper NOA2, no e-mails. I guess I'll wait out the 30 days and call....it really is unbelievable! :angry: Cases approved, sent on and nothing from CSC. How are people supposed to prepare....I mean for those that don't have VJ and are still waiting, since we're all still w/in the "6 month" timeframe. Can you just imagine some poor person getting a call from their SO that they reveived packet 3....and the USC is still seeing "Case Pending" on-line?

That would be such a nightmare! At this point I don't know how I would get through the rest of the process without VJ! Luckily I found VJ as I was getting my papers for I-129F together. Before I found the site, I called to see about how long the process would take, and got the whole 6 months things. We made a lot of plans, then I found this site, and was "shocked" that it was more like 3 months...I hope they get this mess straightened out with the online updates, etc, asap!

Well I just got an e-mail from my uncle (we are using his US address), saying that TWO NOA2s arrived yesterday in separate letters...So at least I can stop worrying about that now...anyone else who is waiting gotten the paper copy yet? Good luck to everyone! Hopefully we'll be seeing some more approvals asap!

No paper copy for me yet. Hopefully soon!

I dont know if I would wait the full 30 before calling. I kinda wish I'd called after it passed NVC since she said to wait another 30 days. Worst they can say is wait! Congrats to those who have gotten the paper copy!

I called again and was told the same old tired rhetoric.....call back after 30 days, then you may have to pay for it. Good Lord!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I have a question for the forum. I am getting conflicting information from what my lawyer is telling me versus what the NVC representative is telling me. I received an email from CSC saying that my I-129F was sent to the NVC on the 23rd of May. From what I read on the FAQ and K3 guide in VJ, once the NVC receives the petition it is assigned a case number and then forwarded directly to the embassy. My lawyer is telling me that is not true. She said once the NVC assigns a case number, it is sent back to us with a packet that we have to complete (AOS) and send back to the NVC and then they forward to the embassy.

My situation has another twist. I have also filed for the I-130 and the NVC sent us the bar coded packet with the DS-230 and I-864 on 5/22 (we still havent received it).

My primary goal is to bring my wife here as quickly as possible since she is 5 months pregnant.

In my opinion, the K3 will be received in Venezuela before the I-130, but my lawyer thinks otherwise. If the information in the FAQ is correct that the NVC directly forward to the emabssy, the I-129 petition can be there as early as next week. Since we still havent received the I-130 packet yet, I am predicting it can take up to anotjer 4-6 weeks before the I-130 gets to Venezuela.

Can somebody help clarify? What would you guys do if you were in my situation?

Mar. 27-Found VJ, and became disappointed for not being able to use VSC.

Mar. 27-Applied for military expedite and got congressional help.

Hehe - Thanks ken...been scarce lately. Is this what I have to expect in the upcoming weeks? Something to do OTHER than sit and constantly check for updates, emails, NOA2? Wow - I don't remember how to have a life!

As far as the I130 goes, gorockogo1, I don't know that many of us here will be able to help you nearly as much as those in the K3 forum. I'm pretty sure the 129F goes from NVC straight to embassy. The embassy will send out Packet 3 to fill out to continue on with the process. Not sure how I130 works. Good luck with it, though!! :D

NVC have our petitiion.. i'm bugging them now to get some info out of them when they sent it to the consulate....

Thanks! A week for them to receive - not too bad, I guess. I thought they generally sent them out pretty quickly, though. More to stress about!
