Why does it need to be pinned? Then we'd have to pin ALL 'monthly filer' type threads.

Generally you would pin a topic that would be relevant to everyone who enters that forum. Look at the pinned topics in the K1 general forum - RFEs, for example, could effect everyone in that forum.

For this forum, there are people who have filed in all different months, so to 'single out' February filers by pinning it doesn't make sense.

I get so confused with the way people from outside the US post their dates. 23/2/2007... huh? I always have to slow down to flip the numbers in my head when I'm looking at timelines.

I vaguely recall having to do dates in that manner when I was in the military many years ago....

Same here...I am hoping to see my congressman in town this month (he does breakfast townhall meetings all over his district) and ask him if he can look into why CSC has so many more files to work than VSC thereby making them slower by a factor of 3

I have already did that with my Congressman...he was surprised by the desrepancy in the times, and said that he would look into it and then gave me a line that CSC has their own set of rules...how can a government agency not have rules that apply equally...it just doesn't sound right, but it does sound like lip service.

Yes, we are still waiting...I am also interested to know what the next congressman will say. As was said it doesn't make sense to me, that seeing that USCIS is a govt agency, why can't anyone regulate them? I always wondered if it would help anything, if enough people signed letters to their congressman, if we could ever change anything...I really want the AOS process to go faster! Anyway, in the meantime, we are still waiting

Also a February filer (better late than never posting, right?). My fiance just flew back to the UK after a 2 month visit so I have LOADS of free time to stress about our visa! Come on CSC!
