When I called for the RFE trick I first had to enter my case # (including WAC) before I could talk with a person. If you aren;t having to do that, you might be in the wrong part of the automated system. When I did get through, I said I was concerned about an RFE blah blah blah and was told "actually it looks like your petition was approved on the 3rd" I didnt have to press them thankfully. After a week or two if you havent heard anything then also try NVC, but make sure you talk to a real person, NOT the automated system. Good luck to everyone still waiting! One more week till I can call and bug them for the paper copy...

Mailed AOS, EAD and AP Sept 11 '07

Recieved NOA1's for all Sept 23 or 24 '07

Bio appt. Oct. 24 '07

EAD/AP approved Nov 26 '07

Got the AP Dec. 3 '07

AOS interview Feb 7th (5 days after the 1 year anniversary of our K1 NOA1!

Stuck in FBI name checks...

Got the GC July '08

Yeah, I entered my receipt number (including WAC) and everything, I think I just got through to one of those women who didn't have a clue. She sounded generally confused.

And many thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes!! And happy birthday again to FutureMrs!!! My family ended up taking me out to dinner at the restaurant I am looking at for my ceremony/reception site and it was goooood. I am so full now. :dance:

02/05/08 - Received Notice for Biometrics

02/23/08 - Received Notice for Interview (AOS)

02/26/08 - Scheduled Biometrics Done!

03/11/08 - Received Notice of Approval (AP)

03/13/08 - Card production ordered (EAD) Gee! Thanks a lot!!

03/21/08 - Approval Notice sent (EAD) Yahoo!!

03/24/08 - Touched & received EAD card today!! Yipee!!

03/25/08 - Scheduled Interview (AOS) Approved! Thankful!!

03/26/08 - Notice mailed welcoming as new permanent resident

03/28/08 - Card production ordered!! Wow!!!

03/31/08 - Received welcome letter.. Nice!

04/04/08 - Received green card through mail! Truly great! Mahalo nui loa!!

AHHHHHHHH (thats a scream, not a relief sigh) Thats awesome, you got your birthday wish!!!! Oh I am so happy for you!!!!!!! Now, get out of that service center and on to some competent people...(I say that but did I even spell competent or is it competant or compatent... oh shite...right)??? I'm thinking out loud, can you tell? Had it right the first time...competent....looked it up in my handy Websters....I am neurotic about spelling....in fact just corrected the convenience store for misspelling Jack Danials....um I know that brand and that is NOT the way you spell it!!!!! Did I mention I'm easily distracted???? And, did I mention....AHHHHHH.....congrats?????? Good for you Sarah.

JandC were approved on the 23rd I think. I haven't heard anything yet though. Two touches and then silence...I did try calling USCIS doing the RFE, and they wouldn't tell me anything. Urgh!

You would suggest calling NVC though?

That was how I found out I was approved! yes, do not delay...call!!!!!!!!!!!

I had been ill and did not know JandC was approved. Well, CONGRATULATIONS TO JANDC !! :thumbs: :thumbs:
