I just called and tried the RFE trick...but this woman didn't want to tell me anything, and read me what seems to be just about every script that they have...how annoying...So I have no idea if I am approved, and she said I should wait for a letter or for something on the internet site to change...I am not sure what to do now...

:) I am really trying to say nice things about them...the last two days I got touches, so far today, nothing, but I am not sure if I should try and call and try and get more information or just wait a few more days...

I betcha by tomorrow you will have an approval. We're now in the approval part of the week!!! And, although this is just my observation, when you get touched more than once, your on the approval stretch, versus the RFE stretch. Of course this is just generally what I have seen. Good luck!!!

The lady that i talked to said that I would be receiving something in the mail about my status and I said, "will i be getting an approval notice or and RFE, or what?", she then took a second (like she was looking something up on the pc) and then told me that it was approved. But she did act hesitant at first. You may get a different answer from a different person if you wanna try it again. When i called NVC the first time the lady was super helpful but the next one i spoke to the next day said that it would be a long time before it is ready to be sent to the embassy.....two days later it was london bound, lol.

keep pressing till you get someone more helpful. On the other hand, the woman I spoke to today said it would be impossible to find my file to tell me what is going on with it, so I don't know. It seems some people have gotten answers by doing the RFE , others have gotten the same old customer service type answers???.

I think it completely depends on the person you get. Because some people have been able to get information from these people. This lady for instance was clearly reading from a script, and kept going on and on, and when I tried to get her to be more clear, just kept reading...since it's already 23:10 in Poland, I can't call back now, too tired :( But I will call more tomorrow, hopefully I'll have better luck. Thanks for the encouragement everyone, it helps :)

Ugh, nothing yet for me. This is so frustrating. So many people were touched the past two days and got approved. And me...nothing. If I don't hear anything I may call tomorrow. Just for peace of mind. :(

Well, I just called and did the RFE trick and all the woman did was read what has been on the USCIS site for months: "On March 1st, we received this I-129F petition, yada yada yada...." She wouldn't tell me anything else. Oh well. I am trying not to think about it too much, since I'm going out to dinner for my birthday now. It's just so aggravating!!
