I have given up checking the case status daily, just once every few days. I am not planning on much until June, but once we get to the end of May into June, I will be checking daily, that's for sure.

Hello all, I am also a Feb Filer...I just found the website though. My petition was received 26 Feb at CSC, and after reading most of the website, I can't help but wish that I lived in Vermont. Oh well. Looks like I will be on the site for a long time, waiting patiently like the rest of us.

Hi! You should set up your timeline so we can see your progress. :)

Lets not let this discussion go dormant. I know we all have hope about getting it through quickly, and we realize that is not going to happen. I saw someone who made a future timeline and they are a february filer. They think they are going to get their interview around june 29th. Thoughts on that anyone?? :clock:

Thanks,

Nathan

I think it depends on what Consulate someone is going through.

I know it's somewhere between 80 - 95 days for for CSC I'm not sure how long NVC takes. From there my future wife is in peru so mine is going to the Lima embassy. When she goes for her interview I am buying a round trip ticket for me and a one way for her. I know she will pass interview.

Not to make you stick your head in the oven, but my NOA2 took 128 days.

There is another CSCer with a NOA1 date two weeks ahead of me who still does not have NOA2 (Jim&Gemz). :( In fact, I remember an October straggler was still around as of a few weeks ago. I'll have to do a search to see if that's changed.

TracyTN,

Its horrible that you had to wait as long as you did for your NOA2! Ever wonder....maybe the adjudicator who was in charge of your case was on extended leave or something(didn't pass your case file on to anyone), and it just sat on his/her desk until he/she returned?

I just wondered, because around the time I signed up for VJ, (I'm still a noob since I've only been here a couple of months) the anticipation was that Nov/Dec approvals were going to come rolling in any minute....and I remember seeing your posts, so it stuck in my mind when you didn't get your NOA2 when the "rest of the pack" did.

:)

:D Thanks Paula! And feh, who knows? 'Logic' and 'CSC' are not terms that go hand in hand...!

I sort of think I somehow got stuck in with Dec filers instead of Nov filers. Probably something totally inadvertant, but boy did it cause me to nearly get an ulcer!!
