Hello VJ,

First of all i want to say thank you all of you with your helpful support. Today, i went to the interview with Tracy and i passed it easily. Here is my report:

I went to the HCMC at 8am, i passed the first round very easily and fast. The first CO was nice Vietnamese lady who is pregant (she is around 35 yearsold) she asked me few questions:

- Did you get denied visitor visa before?( Yes, he invited me and mom to visit his house 2 yrs ago)

- How many times did your fiance make to visit you? (5 is my answer)

- Has he ever got married before? (no)

- Have you ever got married before? (no)

- Do you guys have any kids? (no)

- How many yrs your fiance older than you? (10 yrs)

- Do you do the engagement/wedding reception party? (yes, engagement ceremony)

- How many people joined your party? (around 60 people)

- You have traveled together alot, haven't you? (yes)

- What was the date you were denied your visitor visa (October 17th 2005)

At 11h05 am, 45 mins after the first round, they called my number for the real interview with the American CO. I talked to him directly in English. First of all i said "good afternoon sir" and then i said " chao chi" with the Vietnamese translator. The CO is a very handsome American who is around 30 yrsold. He is very nice and smiled much with me. Here are some questions he asked me:

-What do your fiance do for living? ( Senior System Administrator and he is working for DrJays in San Diego) The CO nodded his head.

- How did you meet him? ( online)

- Which website? (....)

- Why did you go to this website (because before he went here for working 2 yrs ago he wanted to make friend with some Vietnamese friends who can take him to see around the city or can do business with his company...)

- What does your fiance do for fun? (he likes flying every weekend for fun, "oh, really?"), he is a private pilot), the CO was very impressed and surprised and kept nodding his head

- Where does your fiance live? Does he grow up in San Diego? (..... i answered very quickly and also gave him more information about my fiance)

- How many times has your fiance been in VN?

- What company did your fiance work in Vietnam?

- Where was that company located? (Saigon Trade center)

- How long did your fiance work in Vietnam?

- Do you have any relative in the US?

-How many yrs your fiance older than you? (question again)

- Does your fiance live alone by himself or with any body else? (he lives alone in his house)

- Does your fiance own an airplane? (he shared with a friend to own an airplane before he came here for working but now he stopped that because his plan was working here for yrs, he is only renting out the plane for flying for now)

- Do you have any evidence about your relationship to show me? (Yes, i have a lot of evidence to show you, which one do you want to see first? " phone bills pls", then i handed him my phone bills and Tracy's phone bills, he sliced the bills really fast, barely looked at any detail on them then he gave me back everything, only kept my passport).

- Is your fiance here, now? (Yes, he is waiting for me here in another room). He smiled to me and told me to come back the Consulate tomorrow at 4pm to get my visa, i smiled with him and wished him a nice lunch.

My interview was very fast, there are many questions but it took only 5 or 6 minutes for all questions and answers. They did not ask any more evidence (only phone bills), even our pictures and more than 3 kgs of emails and chat logs :P

Today is not crowded day in the Consulate, many pink slips and many blue slips also. To all of you who still not get the interview yet that i advised all of you about well-prepared papers and BE CONFIDENT. I actually saw my pink slip with Tracy's papers before i talked to them. I passed the interview very fast and everybody was very nice to me today. What a lucky day!!!

Again, i want to sy thank you all of you and yes, i will be here for another journey of us. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE THE INTERVIEW IN MARCH!

Trang and Tracy
