Prem rate no for Live help & booking interview

Hi

I called the London consulate yesterday and was given this number 09042450100 for live help and to book an interview. Calls cost £1.20 per min. Has anybody ever tried to book an interview?

My fiance had tried that number when we were desperate for information, but he spent so much time on hold. I think he spent about 15 minutes trying to get through and going through different menus.

The best way (and quickest form of response) is to e-mail them. They always responded within a day or two.

I don't believe you can call and schedule your interview. My fiance didn't have a choice. He had to take what was given.

I would also recommend emailing them instead of calling. We have had to email them before and was pleased with their response time.

Yes, from what others have said the premium rate number gives you no advantages over emailing, that is, unless you like being out of pocket!

I never like to side on that of Immigration but I have rang them twice in the past two weeks and got trhu immediately.

In my experience, e-mailing tended to get a concise, useful reply in a few days, whereas calling almost always ended in me slamming down the phone after about three quarters of an hour cursing the consulate and everyone who works there.

I stuck with e-mails.
