Hi all Vj Members,

when should i check with the consulate in Montreal about receipt of my petition from NVC

letter from NVC dated 23 Jan 06 said they shall forward the petiton in a week.

I hv sent a mail to NVC asking what date did they send(hv mentioned my case#)? do you think they reply to such queries and how long they take to reply

Feb- Recd RFE for missing BC

Mar- Recd RFE for missing BC

Apr- NOA2 Case approved

May- NVC case #

May- paid $88 AOS FEE

how would i know which is mine i do chk the dhl site under expedite niv section one should hv the tracking no from nvc to know whether the 1 they sent is my case

Depend on each country I think. Mine was 3 months(usually takes about 2 month). I see your SO is from CA, it should take no more than a month.

Just called the Montreal consulate and they said the packet 3 has been mailed out
