Or, just turn the darn thing off. The only phones recorded to have caused any injury thus far is a few samsung (GS4-GS6) and ONLY when charging. So turn it off, don't leave it charging, and put it somewhere safe in the car. No battery removal is necessary.

I feel like I'm on mythbusters all of a sudden where I have to prove your cellphone doesn't interfere with airplanes and won't blow you up if you use it at a gas station.

I take mine in. And it goes security first anyways ,But there is a sign posted phone off during interviews. I put mine on vibrate
