USCIS research gets more confusing...

My NOA2 was approved on April 7, 2016 and I have received my I- 797.

My case has never been received at the NVC, so I have requested both the USCIS and the NVC to track my application so I know where it is.

Today I get a response from USCIS that makes NO sense what so ever. I am just trying to see if anyone else has had anything similar to this response.

The status of this service request is:

Thank you for your inquiry. On May 18, 2016, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your Form I-129F to notify us. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

On April 7, 2016, we approved your application and sent you an Approval Notice to the most recent address we have on file. According to the record, we are in the middle of a final review on your petition.

What You Can Do
Please ensure we have your current mailing address, and verify that you are registered to receive mail at the address you provided to us.

I have had no address change and have signed up for the email updates...Is there something that I am missing or have not done?

It's a form letter, most of the letter you can ignore, including the address thing.

The important bit is " we are in the middle of a final review on your petition."

your too lucky because you already recieved yuor noa2 you just filed your on month of april.. mine was filed by march 14 and is till dont have the noa2

Just found out my approved K1 file is still in California. I was approved on April. 7th.

My file is on final review to make sure all T's are crossed and I's dotted to before being sent.

Mind you, I waited until after my 35 days to send an inquiry, and today is day 47, but I was warned against repeated calls and double work.

If the agent sees you are making too many inquiries, I was told they will FREEZE your case.

I was also told that if not received withing a week, that I could call again.

So I wait again and will refrain from calling.
