Hello,

I had an AOS interview last Thursday. I received an email that my interview has been canceled today. However, I alredy had one, and waiting for a green card. What is hapeening there? Should I be worried?

Nothing to worry about, for some reason their system sometimes sends false cancellation notices out, many times a person thinks the interview was canceled, but the email was sent in error, and the local office puts you down as a no-show, and suddenly you find yourself facing deportation. It is always best to ignore this notice and just visit the CIS office and play ignorant. In your case you did your interview, and are waiting for the card.

Indeed, in this case it was harmless, but how many people more people have to be denied AOS for not showing up before USCIS fix this damn bug?

For now my advice would be: ignore all emails, only pay attention to stuff you get in paper form.
