It's his passport/citizenship that determines the requirements. A green card is only helpful to enter the US, Canada and Mexico.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Its Egyptian passport.

And for Canada, a GC holder can enter Canada without Visa for both car or flight entry?

Do Egyptians need a visa to enter EU/ Schengen countries ? There's your answer, PL isn't any different. GC in this case is irrelevant.

US LPRs can visit Canada visa-free.

what LPR stands for ?

I've heard that visiting Canada by driving is visa-free, but entering through air needs a Visa. For my case, I am only gonna be in a transit hall. Will this require visa? want to double check before I book a flight

LPR = Lawful Permanent Resident, which is what you are.

US permanent residents do not need visas to visit Canada no matter how they enter Canada. They will need an eTA if entering by air starting this September 29.

I was going to book a flight from WA to Poland, and most of cheap flights have transit in Canada, Vancouver. I was wondering will I need a Canadian transit visa knowing that I am just a permanent resident of the US ? Thanks

A GC hold has an advantage over a USC--they can enter Canada and Mexico with only the GC where as a USC needs their passport. This would fall under the transit part of international travel.

You will need to get a visa to the country of primary destination. If no primary destination you need to get a visa to the country of first entry. For example, if my wife went with me to Poland and we leave Denver and travel to Frankfurt and then on to Poland, my wife would need a Polish visa as that is the primary destination. If we decide to entry the EU in Germany and travel to several countries then she would need a German visa as we would have no primary destination as it is defined.

I have got into a dilemma here guys when I came to apply for A Poland visa in Los Angeles embassy, they require me to go in person to submit the papers. I live in WASHINGTON state. I don't know what to do for this traveling hassle. Does anybody know whether I can apply from different embassies like the one in Chicago or DC though they won't serve my area ? I am confused. I thought the application is online only and mail my documents to the embassy. Any thoughts or info on this ? Thanks
