Recent 2GO timelines

Our interview is today, and I was curious what the timeline to visa in hand has looked like lately. If we are lucky, she can be here by memorial day. I'd much rather attend the memorial day festivities with her by my side!

We have the CFO certificate. I guess 2GO probably won't get it until next week...we still have to pass the interview too! Her interview is scheduled in a few minutes, and if she is issued a Visa, she will pick it up in Manila.

Yes, it looks like I was incredibly optimistic about the timeline here. There is a family event that I would like her to attend on June 4. Maybe she can be here for that.

If she is picking up the visa at 2GO MOA that can shave two days. Embassy states it can be 5-10 days from ISSUED before the visa will be delivered by 2GO. Keep checking the CEAC website for status

Quick trip to CFO for the sticker (not certificate) once visa is in hand.

Thanks Hank! Being in Manila is lucky, because everything is fairly easy to get. On the other hand, it is unlucky, because it's still Manila. (I much prefer the rural areas)

I read online that if we book her flight with a Philippines IP address, it can shave several hundred dollars. Maybe we will do that!

Yes, I read an article that suggested the online travel websites read your IP address (it has information about your country) and give different rates based on this. So yes, I am thinking about letting her book it or something like that.
