USC has never been to the UK

Alright, my fiance's interview is in a week and a half! Yay! I'm not all that nervous, but when I read about a couple and their different visits back and forth, I start to thinking and worrying. Dave has been over here 4 times over the past year and a half. Which isn't that bad, I think. The problem is I've never been to the UK. In my paranoid mind, I'm thinking the interviewer is going to think maybe it's just an arrangement to be a greencard wife (as someone has referred to me before online, I was fuming!) Anyways, I've actually never flown anywhere and taking a trip to the UK on my own just wasn't an option for my first flight. He says he'll tell them this at the interview which is totally the truth. Surely this won't be a problem, right? Reading reviews of interviews, this isn't even likely to come up, right?

I'd also like to add that I have a research paper due on the same day as his interview, which is helping me not get too antsy about the final days up til the interview, seeing how I'm dreading doing this paper. Yeah, I've not even started it yet. Gotta love the procrastinators of the world. lol

I have never heard of anyone being asked if their fiancee has been to the UK and if not why not. Not a requirement.

Apart from the time, International flights are usually a lot nicer, and cheaper per mile.

I'm definitely looking forward to traveling over, seeing where he comes from, meeting his family and friends. I just never planned on doing it by myself. And I'm pretty sure first time I was stuck in a busy airport frantically searching for my way around so not to miss my connecting flight by myself, I'd be having a nervous breakdown.

Even if they do ask, all he needs to do is tell the truth. You've never flown before, and when you do come to the UK for your first visit, he'll be flying with you.

Well, I seriously doubt it will cause his visa to be denied, BUT - they may ask him if you have met his family, and most likely will ask when the last time was you saw each other. I've read both of these questions out of the London consulate.

I had never flown ANYWHERE to the first time I went to visit Wes. Not one domestic flight - nothing. It really wasn't all that bad from the 'getting lost' perspective (remember we woman aren't afraid to ask directions). It was a bit lonely though, and boring.
