MAJOR Pet Peeve!!!

That's not the only thing I can do. I can also ask them to fill out their timelines. Obviously, if they haven't started a process they can't fill out a timeline. That's just common sense. Timelines are voluntary, that's just obvious common sense too. Also, I trust that the majority who do fill it out, will fill out correctly. I don't assume everyone is too dumb to fill it out right so I don't excessively worry about error. Also, I assume everyone takes timelines with a grain of salt because mistakes and omissions will happen. All of this is common sense. I just want those who participate in the forum and have started a process (again, duh) to fill out their timelines. Who doesn't want that?

Also, according to your logic it's preferable that no one fil out a timeline because they will do it wrong and it skews data. Then why are any of us filling out timelines?

Yes that's EXACTLY what I said... of course... How could I have been so blind to what I have written?! No one should fill out timelines because everyone is doing them wrong!

If you've obviously come to the common sense conclusion then you no longer have an issue. Keep on keeping on... and getting peeved? Whatever floats yer boat! :goofy:

I dont think you read that right....

NLR said if people ask questions in which we know they should have a timeline just don't answer if you have a problem helping people who dont contribute. Now there are people whom ask for help and just cant have a timeline as of yet like someone asking questions like what forms they need to file ect.

Now if they dont fill out sometimes is better then those who fill out all wrong and there timeline throws off the processing times IE March 8 for csc K1 been up like 4 times in the past two weeks and lets not wonder how texas has had approvals and there not even processing K1.

And as for Ryan he has to move this to where he did because thats were it belongs nothing you can do about that thats there job if not people would complain things arent were they belong..

Hope it makes more sense for you... :secret:

Take a deal breath take it with a grain of salt

At least thats what i understood :huh2:

I understand that there are people going through various immigration processes who just browse the forum. BUT if someone starts a new thread, especially if the topic is timeline related, THEY SHOULD COMPLETE THEIR TIMELINE. It's a courtesy to all the users to complete the timeline ESPECIALLY if you are asking for their help! It doesn't take a lot of time and everyone benefits from it. If you are going to be a part of the forum and you are looking to benefits from the knowledge and experiences of others, DO YOUR PART! COMPLETE YOUR TIMELINE!!!

Amen!

Timeline

Filling out timelines are voluntary. The only thing you, or anyone can do to enforce this, is to refuse to help those that don't fill out their timelines.

Some questions are asked by people who can't possibly have a timeline because they have not filed yet. Others are filled out incorrectly. I'd personally take no timeline to one that is done wrong because that skews the data vs non-contributing.

Discussions about the website as a whole take place in this forum. K1 process and procedures is for asking questions about the K1 process.

That doesn't even work as others will then come and answer for them and then they don't ever have to fill out a timeline.

If it bothers a person individually though, thats the only action you can take regardless of what others do. You can only control you, no one else. Even that can be hard enough always.
