I understand that there are people going through various immigration processes who just browse the forum. BUT if someone starts a new thread, especially if the topic is timeline related, THEY SHOULD COMPLETE THEIR TIMELINE. It's a courtesy to all the users to complete the timeline ESPECIALLY if you are asking for their help! It doesn't take a lot of time and everyone benefits from it. If you are going to be a part of the forum and you are looking to benefits from the knowledge and experiences of others, DO YOUR PART! COMPLETE YOUR TIMELINE!!!

preach lol , its so annoying but i guess forums dont require it , doing the timeline also helps ppl understand your situation or question better as well , some country dnt even have consulate reviews b/c ppl dont write a small review , i think doing the timeline and consulate review are so crucial

Honestly i dont think people care...Most come in here ask their immigration questions and move on. They take instead of giving or sharing.

Sad but true...

What is worse is when someone registers, ask a legitimate question, then never return to read all the good advice that was given to them.

Ryan thanks for moving this thread to a sub-forum where no one will see it, and therefore, still not fill out their timelines. It wasn't meant to be a meaningless rant. It was meant to be a plea for as many users as possible to fill out their timelines.

Filling out timelines are voluntary. The only thing you, or anyone can do to enforce this, is to refuse to help those that don't fill out their timelines.

Some questions are asked by people who can't possibly have a timeline because they have not filed yet. Others are filled out incorrectly. I'd personally take no timeline to one that is done wrong because that skews the data vs non-contributing.

Discussions about the website as a whole take place in this forum. K1 process and procedures is for asking questions about the K1 process.

That's not the only thing I can do. I can also ask them to fill out their timelines. Obviously, if they haven't started a process they can't fill out a timeline. That's just common sense. Timelines are voluntary, that's just obvious common sense too. Also, I trust that the majority who do fill it out, will fill out correctly. I don't assume everyone is too dumb to fill it out right so I don't excessively worry about error. Also, I assume everyone takes timelines with a grain of salt because mistakes and omissions will happen. All of this is common sense. I just want those who participate in the forum and have started a process (again, duh) to fill out their timelines. Who doesn't want that?

Also, according to your logic it's preferable that no one fil out a timeline because they will do it wrong and it skews data. Then why are any of us filling out timelines?
