I have yet to receive my biometrics appointment letter, so I know I can't really do anything now, but just asking to know for the future. I just graduated from university in my home country in Feb of this year, and as of July 1st, I have to start paying back my student loans (~$500/month...50k in total loans). Now I doubt I'll have my EAD by then, and I know for a fact we won't be able to afford payments, so I was hoping to try and put in a request for EAD expedite due to financial loss. I know people have been approved with a job offer in hand, but was just wondering if anyone had any experience with getting one die to having student loans that need to be paid back.

Thanks!

Could you contact your loan issuer and ask for an extension due to not having enough income? They could lower your payments based on that, or could let you postpone your payments till you get your EAD. I feel like that would be easier to do than trying to expedite your EAD. Or you could try both.
