Hello VJs

I just started to work on N-400 and I am confused with Part 2 / middle name. I always use full name Maria as middle name but on the front of my GG it appears as M only, but, on the back of the Green card is printed full middle name Maria . The Part 2., says: your name Exactly As It appears on your Permanent Resident Card- not specifying front or back which in this case are different. Shall I use M or Maria in middle name box in Part 2-point 2???

I would certainly appreciate any help from someone having experance in similar situation.

Doesn't matter. Both are on the green card. People have successfully applied doing both.

Personally, I did as the previous responder suggested, and used the initial as listed on the front.

For your legal name, use whatever your current full legal name is, regardless of what's on the green card.

Thank you akihon for your quick response

Now I find my self stuck on PART 6/ INFO ABT PARENTS.. Since both my parents were not US citizens, this question "does not apply" since there is no space to write this and the instructions state that the applicant should not write in margins etc., where can I print my Answer "N/A"? Or should I just leave it blank and move to Part 7 ???

It says if neither of your parents are US citizens, skip to part 7.

I have never written N/A for things that don't apply to me. I have always left them blank, and I am scheduled for my oath ceremony.
