It would be best if he calls the uscis hotline and follow up on his case. He can also tell that it has been 114 days since he was approved. Im sure they have an answer for him.

Goodluck to all of us and praying we will all receive it soonest!?

He said he did he will call them again

Im the same position, and I was just about to post a topic about it before i saw this. And as unfortunate as it is.. Im glad Im not the only one!

My application was approved May 3rd, received the "Welcome/Congratualations" letter a few days later, and my online case status also says Case is approved.

Almost identical timeline and story to you! Approved on May 2nd, got the Welcome letter May 5th. No Green Card yet and they told me I have to wait 30 days to chase it up.

Daughter approved May 4th. Got her Green Card AND welcome letter on May7th.

I have a little (late update, sorry) about my situation...

So i did not get ead or ap, because my greencard got approved before they mailed...

But my greencard never arrived (approved on 14th and send for production that datly (eventho papers say 16th)

So i called every week...nothing.. tho a week ago i had a man that was kind of new...he sounded nervous too poor man as a tier 2... he told me that somethibg went wrong and they honestly have no clue when to get it...

So I told him that my husband is going on base soon for 2 weeks and i need to be able to drive at least (groceries, emergencies) and with my ead/ap approved may 4th and greencard may 14th yet not having any proof honestly really sucks!

So he told me i can make an infopass appointment to get the stamp, so last friday (my field office is REALLY quiet! Nobody ever there ><) i finally got my temporary greencard! (Stamp)... it makes waiting for the card less of a pain since i can finally work and get my DL! Good for USCIS too because now i wont call every week... maybe i will every month haha

So if any of you in this situation dont have ead or ap yet, go to your fieldoffice to get that stamp! Because you ARE a permanent resident since approval, you have the right to be able to work ^^

Ps... the woman at the field office also tried to find out WHY it went wrong but there was nothing to find... if she would have found anything she would have been able to speed up fixing it... (she thinks my middle name is just too long.. my full name would be:

***** ******** ***** ******** (fist, middels, last) So maybe its that reason with others here as well, who knows :))

I just got notification that my Green Card is being produced. Nearly 5 weeks after approval, but at least I know where it is now. Based on some of the other posts in the last few days, it looks like they are moving to clear the backlog now. Fingers crossed for you all waiting!
