EAD is almost 90 days and AOS question...

My husband is at day 88 today for his EAD. How long after the 90 days should we call and have someone look into it?

Also, we sent in one check for the EAD, AOS, and the sponsor. We received notice that they were accepted on February 22. The AOS fee wasn't accepted until April 5. We had separate biometrics for EAD and AOS. EAD biometrics was in March, and AOS biometrics was in May. Which date counts for the AOS? When we received the letter stating they received it in February, or the notice in April?

This has been a mess. I thought this would go a lot smoother, as he was here under his mother's green card when he was younger, and actually graduated from HS and went to college here.

I am in the exact same boat. I am on day 85 and had 2 biometrics. 1 on march 30, which was code 2, and one on may 2nd ( i did a walk in tho), which was a code 3.

My biometrics fee ( I-485) were received on April 1st, i knew I had a 2nd biometrics coming because of that)

So, I think the second biometics will be the one for the AOS, not the second one. This is something you could actually ask the T2 agent when you call.

And I plan on calling on day 91. I called on Monday and the USCIS officer said to wait until 90 and they call back. ( he is sure I should get approval before.. I don't think so )

 

August 2011: Started talking to Brian
June 1st, 2012: Started dating (L)
July 29th 2012: Saw each other for the first time, met Family
August 2013: Got engaged
July 2014: Sent 1-129F petition
July 29th, 2014: Received NOA1.
February 5th, 2015: NOA2!
April 16th, 2015: Medical in Montréal
May 15th, 2015; Interview- APPROVED!
June 22nd, 2015: POE at Champlain Border

September 4th, 2015: Wedding! :dancing:
 

AOS/EAD/AP

February 20th, 2016: AOS/EAD/AP Package sent! (Received 2/25, yay for USPS delays!)

March 4th, 2016: NOA 1 for all 3 applications

March 11th, 2016: Hardcopies with all 3 receipt Numbers received

March 30th, 2016: Biometrics (as a code 2, Maybe have to go again?)

April 25th, 2016: Walk in for the SECOND Biometrics appoinment (Code 3 this time, Officer was not the happiest but told us to come back at noon and he'd let us in.)

May 16th, 2016: Submitted Service Request for I-765

June 8th, 2016: Called USCIS concerning delay, officer put another request in and said the previous one would like be ignored as it was created through their website.

June 21st, 2016: Contacted both NY Senators.

July 1st, 2016: RFIE for I-485.

July 8th, 2016; Sent Evidence Requested by USCIS. (Received July 13th)

July 15th, 2016; Emergency Advance Parole due to Family Emergency

July 27th, 2016; Contacted USCIS Ombudsman as my I-765 has been pending for 5 months.

July 30th,2016; EAD/AP have been approved!

Yes. The first one was code 2, and only a picture and index fingerprint. That was for the EAD. The second one was all 10 fingers for the AOS, and another picture.

This is so frustrating. Our local office is very nice, though. But we are going through the MSC (NBC) for the main part. I hear they are very busy.
