Correct me if I'm wrong, but the CR-1 wait time is about 5-6 months for approval, 1 month processing in NVC and 1 month waiting for an interview at the appropriate embassy for an average of 7 - 8 months of waiting? We just want to get a timeline of how long we will have to wait since we agreed not to see each other again until the visa is issued. I'm not sure if I read the timelines correctly or not.

+ up to one month for USCIS to mail your petition to NVC, + up to one more month for NVC to assign you a case number, + 1 month waiting for case complete at NVC after you send them your AOS/IV package and complete all NVC steps

most of the time it takes a year, once approved, as said it takes 30 days or more to get to NVC, then there is time for them to mail the letter with your case number

then comes all the forms, payments and sending all the documents until the case is complete, then a few other months to get the interview because they mail your case to the Embassy/Consulate

if you can. go and visit him, because at the interview, he will have to prove that your marriage is bona fide, so if you visit him, you have something close to the interview that proves that your marriage is real

A fast CR1 without an expedite is about 8 months. Normal is about a year. Extended is about 16-18 months. And depending on country, it's possible for AP to last from a few weeks to years.

5 to 7 months USCIS Approval (NOA2)

3 to 4 months NVC to get to Case Complete (2 to 4 weeks to end to NVC. 2 weeks for Case# assignment, then you do the driving) than 30 to 45 days to CC

Morocco has a 2 to 4 week wait to be assigned a Interview date (very fast)

AP is almost mandatory for most males in Morocco so expect that. Hopefully it will be short. Or not at all.
