My AOS was approved on May 4th 2016. We received the notice on May 10th. The online status changed to approved on May 11th.

The card production order has not been made yet. Tried calling USCIS but as with everything else, they said we have to wait. And it may take up to 60 days.

Anyone else facing issues with delayed GC production?

I am facing a lengthy delay with the production of my combo card. My ead was approved on April 30 but the update says "we have updated your name on April 30..." and my ap was approved on May 2. I got that update on May 11, like you. I called USCIS a couple days later and the tier 2 officer confirmed the dates when my applications were approved and told me that a glitch in the system caused my address to disappear during the update. The address apparently reappeared so he sent an administrative error review to MSC then told me to wait three weeks for the card. Based on what I read, they should look at my case within 5 working days so I plan to call them back tomorrow afternoon. I also spoke to other vjers who did not receive updates but their card just showed up in the mail so keep your fingers crossed.

I am sorry for your delay but I know exactly how you feel.

It looks like many of us are having issues. I was approved May 2nd, Daughter on May 4th, got our approval notices in the mail within a few days. Daughter got her GC in under a week. Mine? Same situation as yours. If you look down the page on this sub forum you will see several similar topics. It appears to be affecting Green Cards as well as the EAD/AP cards.

My service request that I opened on May 10th was closed on 5/24 saying they have sent a response. Awaiting the response letter now.

There is no official communication or news that I found that there is a delay in card production. I think we are just unlucky. The wait never ends.

I have infopass on June 2nd for 551 stamp.

Judebloom, let us know if you were successful in getting the I-551 stamp.

I did INFOPASS last week. The officer said they need to see the I-485 approval notice (welcome letter) to stamp.

I haven't received the notice yet but anyway got the I-551 stamped.

My case was approved on May 2nd. Also no Green Card yet. I might try Infopass. I'm watching to see if others have success getting the I551 stamp. I do have my Welcome letter.

Regarding Service Requests. I opened one on May4th, not knowing I'd been approved two days earlier and apparently, neither did the agent who processed my request over the phone for me. It lay untouched for a few weeks and then I saw an update that they had sent a response on May 16th. I've never seen or heard a thing from them about it. It's ridiculous, but then, so is much of this process.

I went to the infopass for the 551 stamp. The officer asked for the passport and I485 apptovsl notice. Then said they don't stamp 551 for pending GC cases as such. He asked what was the urgency. I told him we had to get some legal paper done and had travel scheduled for that.

He then said let me check and went inside. Came back after 5 min and said he and give them stamp for 60 days and that was fine for our travel. After 15 min, he gave us the passports stamped.

He did not ask for any other documents, travel itinerary or photographs... Just the AOS approval notice.

He also mentioned there was some issue with the reading of fingerprint data that was causing the GC delays and said he can see that they have sent the request and we should receive it in 30 days.

This make so much sense. I hope they will fix, or I will ask for info pass too. It will be a month end of this week since we got the approval.
