Congrats!! Nothing personal but just curious what criteria they use to sort out people for this approval? Looks enough discriminating when you see here poor bros's and sist's hanging on the long wait with the work, travel and other problems connected to it.

I could not tell you but I haven't had special treatment have to go through the process like everyone else just got lucky

I guess filling in good time and being very strategic on what to send ect ect it helps

I think it helps if you came here on visa like a k1 rather than coming and getting married for immigration purposes maybe

But sorry to say I can't help you

Keep fighting though

Congrats! That was fast! :)

Yes very fast and thanks

Makes you wonder if there's a "low fraud country" bounce too. Here's hoping :-)

Not really. If you look at the monthly threads, almost always there are a few lucky winners. Possibly the service center wants to report they started processing cases from that month and just like a lottery pick these lucky winners.

i wish they implemented a true first-in first-out processing but it is the way it is. Just take it as a good sign they are moving forward.

Criteria is evident. people form prosperous countries if moving to the US gets processed faster. Reason, lesser red tape and less corruption and a unlikely intent of immigration fraud. Now, this may not apply to all but like i said it is self evident. By the way, my ROC process was pretty fast as OP's in spite of the fact that i come from a country regarded as high fraud country by USCIS

There should not be any "problems" with waiting for ROC. As long as it's in process, you are not out of status. And there is no advantage to be gained by receiving it quickly. Leave it to USCIS to be fast when it really doesn't matter!

Having worked for a Federal agency that handled legal cases, I can tell you that a true first-in first-out processing is almost impossible to achieve. Many, many cases will be distributed to 10's or 100's of case workers. Some case workers will be slow, some fast. All case workers will be evaluated on the speed and quality they use in closing cases. So there is real incentive for some case workers to work faster than others. One other element in play is that some case workers will see low hanging fruit and jump ahead and close an easy case early. In this situation, cases from low fraud countries are probably far easier to handle, and pass through the system.

I guess one way to come closer to a first in first out system is to have all case workers picking up new cases from a single pile, but that's pretty hard to effect with multiple centers spread across the United States. We're stuck with the system we have instead of the one we want.

As I saw in one fresh topic here when the person lost extension and went for the stamp replace it and was said there that case was in their office and looks like that appointment forced them to "touch" case quickly. Seems it depends on local office work. So thanks to Russ&Caro for professional explanation too. (F)

So now is the time to get your N-400 prep done........ Not long now till you can apply for citizenship and then the USCIS can be a memory...

Thank you, goodnight and may your gods go with you",
