Sure, that's valid. however, it will take a great amount of time for this person to actually migrate if petitioned by any relative other than a US citizen spouse

OP didn't give us a specific timeline, he/she simply said he wanted to come to the U.S.

Waiting around for the DV lottery could take just as long if not longer if he/she is unlucky.

Investment visas cost a lot of money, so unless OP has it on hand it would take time to save up.

Also, as you mentioned, the field OP is in is unlikely to provide him a path to an employment based visa.

I'm not really seeing your reasoning for thinking that asking about possible family ties isn't a feasible option.

Agree with MorganandMichael. The OP is 21 and has years and years ahead of him. A 7 or 10-year wait for a family-based visa is not the end of the world at that age.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

your situation is not complicated and is perfect case of a dreamer and one should dream. The working from home need to be properly documented and need work authorization unless you are volunteering for something.how/with what mode will you get paid by your customers ? what you are planning to do without proper work authorization is illegal. i don't want to put words on this forum like some people suggested to go marry/ get engaged to a USC. i don't like the spirit its being said here thats why i suggested to talk to a lawyer.

I don't see why suggesting the paths of immigration is a problem here. Nobody is suggesting OP to go through fraud marriage/engagement to immigrate. Based on what the OP is saying, immigrating via family based petition (fiance or spouse or as suggested by other posters) or DV seemed to be the only plausible thing. Employment based or investment based immigration seems highly unlikely.

you can't just move to the US because you want to, immigration does not work that way.

Investment visa is another good point i forgot to mention. thank you. however, they seek investment in the tune of like a mil or more.not sure about the exact amount. the process is not that time consuming though.

it is $500 thousand, half million for investment visa

family ties are not an option because there are so many people in the queue in that catagory. you can find data online to see approximate number of people in the same category from different countries. this process is very very slow. Also, i mentioned that USC spouse petitioning for an alien spouse (i am beneficiary as well) is one of the easiest, quickest ways to migrate legally.

Thanks for clarifying. how are you liking your new house ?

you are right and guess what ? everyone knows about that especially from a third world countries. there are jokes about this in many countries situated geographically closer to the US

The waiting time you mentioned is only valid if the alien is petitioned by a close family member. not aunts, uncles, nieces etc. i somewhat agree with you guys though.good point.

You yourself immigrated to the US by marrying a USC/resident. Do you happen to be from the countries situated geographically closer to the US?

Which is exactly why people were asking the question of which relatives he had in the U.S. to begin with.. OP did not say whether or not it was a close member in the first post. It very well could have been.

The relatives i have are uncles and aunts from my mother so i dont think it even counts since i think only family relatives like siblings and parents are count
