I have a reasonable cache of weapons and the skill to use them.

ditto - but you forgot to include the ammo :P

Mogadishu, Somalia is the closest thing to Anarchy. I would rather live in 1933 Germany thank you.

Good luck...

Would you like to take a field trip to Somalia for me?

isn't it funny that the ones that seem anti-gun ownership are advocating anarchy? what will they defend themselves with when the thugs show up - spears?

I think the only "defence" is pre-emptive - in opposing (rather than embracing) totalitarian forms of government. It is after all much easier to give away all your freedoms than to win them back..

isn't being anti-gun giving away one of those freedoms?

Sure - but less insidious than say, supporting broad legislation that reduces your privacy and increases executive authority at the expense of other branches of government.

interesting. i consider it to be one of the more important freedoms. after all, what do you propose using to ouster the government, should your rights become more and more restricted until you and many others have had enough? paper clips? staplers?
