Perhaps, but even Libertarianism recognizes that you can't have true liberty if the predators are free to prey on the innocent.

I'm somewhat surprised there's so much support for a fascist state on this site for at least a few reasons. 1) I would have thought that people having to deal with so much bureaucracy just to be with your loved one would be less in favor of a oppressively controlling dictatorship. 2) I am surprised that so many people involved in multi-racial, multi-ethnic, and at the very least multi-cultural relationships would want to put themselves in a society where they would be so easily discriminated against. Even if you are lilly white and your SO is too, and you both speak English natively, you most likely speak a different dialect. You only have to look to the Bible to find an example of genocide on the basis of dialect differences (Judges 12--on the pronunciation shibboleth vs. sibboleth by different dialects). And that's if you have no differences in skin color or other more obvious differences! The thought is much scarier than the "law of the jungle". I've been to the jungle, and it's generally quite peaceful there, and when they do have skirmishes, it's generally quite minor; there's no threat of global annihilation by nukes, for example.

In reference to the book of Judges, Chapter 12, verse 6, it states he could not pronounce the word correctly. I do not see where it mentions having a 'different dialect ', but rather he mispronounced it. Could this just be your interpretation ? Study Chapters 11 and 12 again to better understand the " genocide " , as you call it.

Then I think you need to check into what anarchism really is, or could be.

Frankly, the possibilities with anarchy are endless, and while I wouldn't choose it over other ways of living, it's certainly 1000 times better than fascism. C'mon people! You're starting to scare me again!

Yep. The L.A. Riots gave us a great example of what can happen when law-enforcement steps aside. I don't think fascism is a good thing. But I also don't have a romantic trust in the essential goodness of Mankind, such that society needs no restraints to keep people from devouring one another.

One army pronounces the word "shibboleth", the other "sibboleth". Classic case of dialect differences, where both varieties have the same word only different pronunciations. There's no "correct" form; it just depends on the point of view: who's the conqueror and who's the defeated. And when the army of an entire ethnic group is destroyed, that's called genocide. There's plenty of non-Biblical examples of this sort of discrimination, too; I just pointed to the Bible because there are so many examples of genocide there (in the Old Testament anyway).

Fair enough, the point is: it's not much of a stretch to think how this kind of tactic could be used against civilians in a fascist state. I wouldn't want to be on the end of a massacre or a genocide, whatever you want to call it.
