Embajada en Caracas suspende las citas para visa de turismo y negocios

Alguien sabe si esto afectaria tambien la entrega de visas K1, todo parece indicar que estan cortos de empleados en la embajada dado que el Gobierno actual no a dado las visas a los funcionarios que trabajan en la embajada y esto a creado una falta de personal.

This doesn't affect K1 visas, as they are considered immigrant visas at the embassy because of the intent to immigrate after marriage.

K-1 visas are kinda special visas. They are considered non-immigrant visas in some respects that if you don't get married within 90 days, you have to leave. However, when applying for appointments for a K-1 visa for the embassy, they are listed under immigrant visas because they are used with the intent to immigrate, whereas tourist visas and business visas, the intent is to have a short stay and then leave, they are not for immigrating. K-1 visas can be looked at as non-immigrant visas that allow you to change intent and file for adjustment of status once you get married. Whereas on a tourist visa, even if you get married, the intent is SUPPOSED to be that you return home afterwards.

It was not related with immigrant or non-inmigrant type, was only affecting visas of B1, B2 (tourist visa) for new applicants. Renovations and other types of visa were and still working.
